I don’t watch a lot of Lifetime movies and generally when I see one at all, it’s because I’m flipping around on the tube ( generally late at night ) looking for something to watch. And from time to time I see a movie on Lifetime that at the very least looks interesting, because even though it’s a cable network that’s based for women, ( not that there’s anything wrong from that ) they do a lot of mystery movies and even action/drama type programing and movies and you see people there that perhaps you’ve seen in other places and networks or movies, or you see people there that just aren’t very well-known if at all. Who perhaps come from the theater, independent films, or perhaps come down from Canada and are well-known there or not at all, but someone discovers them there or in America and decides they would be right for their Lifetime TV movie.

Actress Dina Meyer, sort of fits both roles as someone who has done several Lifetime films, who has been seen in other movies working for other film companies, been seen on TV and even in big Hollywood movies, but isn’t well-known in the sense where everyone who watches a lot of movies and TV has not only heard of her, but knows exactly who she is and what her background is. If The Boy Next Door has a star at all, it would be Dina Meyer who isn’t just the star of this movie, but is the only star in the movie. Perhaps the one actress or actor that someone who watches TV and movies on a regular basis that people have heard of and seen before. Not a knock on Dina or the rest of the cast, because this movie is actually pretty good and not just Dina but the cast in general. But this is a Lifetime movie and unless you’re Lifetime junkie The Boy Next Door from 2008, is probably not a movie that you think about or have ever heard of.

Dina Meyer, plays Sara ( last name apparently unknown ) who is a mystery writer who moves to a small town to finish her latest book and is dealing with writers book. Who meets a young man perhaps in his early 20s if that who lives next door to her at her new house. She sort of falls in love with Michael ( played by Christopher Russell and become obsessed with him to the point that she’s taking pictures of him everyday when he’s out in the yard. What seems like a very friendly and charming small town where the locals even seem welcoming of new residents, becomes very cold at least towards Sara when Michael turns up dead and it looks like he was murdered. And Sara becomes the local sheriff’s office prime suspect and everyone in the town now views Sara as the prime suspect in the murder case as well.

Sara, goes from being a well-known and successful mystery writer to an amateur snoop who is working on her own case to find out who actually murdered Michael. And I believe she plays the amateur PI role very well, but it’s not that believable I believe that someone with no law enforcement or investigative experience now all the sudden become a very good private investigator. The Boy Next Door has a real Hallmark Mystery or Hart To Hart mystery feel to it where amateur snoops, become the star investigators in the case and not only that, but they become the people who actually catch the killers and bring them to justice. But Dina Meyer does an excellent job of playing that role.

USA Network: In Plain Sight- Something About Mary McCormack

“Sundays, 10/9c beginning June 1st. In Plain Sight is an hour-long drama that revolves around Mary Shannon (Mary McCormack), a tough, sexy US Marshal who works for the Federal Witness Protection Program. While many of the witnesses under her care are high-maintenance career criminals, some are just innocent people who had the misfortune of witnessing a crime or falling victim to one.”

From USA Network

Mary McCormack
Source:USA Network– There’s something about Mary McCormack.

Did In Plain Sight make actress Mary McCormack a star? I personally knew about her from watching her on ABC’s Murder One from back in 1995-96 where she played one of the lawyers at the firm there. And liked her back then both physically, but as an actress as well. And then about ten years later where she played the National Security Advisor on NBC’s The West Wing. The West Wing, goes off the air in 2006 and she gets In Plain Sight from USA a couple years later. She’s been around for a while and has been very successful for a while, but perhaps In Plain Sight made her a household name.

What In Plain Sight did for ( there’s a lot of something about ) Mary McCormack, is not just make her the star of that hit show from USA, but the main reason if not only reason to watch that show. She plays U.S. Deputy Marshal Mary McCormack, who is a badass Federal law enforcement officer who has a no bullshit ( to be frank ) attitude and doesn’t take anything from anyone, including her family. Who operates in a world where everyone around her is dependent on her and wants something from her.

Her no bullshit attitude operates in a world of bullshitters where both her mother and adult sister not just live with her, but are dependent on Mary for their economic survival. And she feels used and perhaps abused even by her own family and then she’s hard-ass U.S. Marshal who works for the U.S. Witness Protection Bureau and deals with professional bullshit artists for a living which just compounds all of her issues for her. And operates in a world where the only people she really trusts are the people she works with including her partner and supervisor.

Similar to Mariska Hargitay from Law & Order SVU who also plays a badass female cop, as tough as attitude and first impression is, she’s just too cute, beautiful, and feminine to completely fool people with her attitude. Mary McCormack, as well as her character U.S. Marshal Mary Shannon, is a tall, gorgeous, sexy, very cute sexy blonde who wears tight outfits on her show a lot and unless you’re gay or something, perhaps blind as well it would be very hard if not impossible to at least notice her, if not be attracted to her. On the outside she’s a very feminine and attractive woman, but with the attitude of an Army Drill Sergeant, where you would have to be a complete idiot to want to mess with her. And plays this role perfectly and makes a good show very entertaining all by herself.

For the first minute of this video I was trying to figure out whether or not Piper Perabo was actually singing. Or whether she was lip singing, or perhaps was wearing a secret earpiece and Leann Rimes was feeding her the words for her song.

Also, I didn’t know that John Goodman and Maria Bello spoke Spanish so well and were able to do it with Spanish accents. For the sake of this post I’m going with Piper was actually singing and say that she did a very good job. I could buy that, especially if I was rich because she does have a sweet voice and I could believe her as a good singer. With a lot of help from Leann Rimes who has one of the best voices in the business. And does a great job with a great song.

I could count on one hand the number of Leann Rimes songs that I like and not need all the fingers. I’m not a fan of country or country pop. Country rock I could listen to, but Leann has a great voice and would love to hear her sing to classic rock or R&B. She has a great voice for both.

“I feel like I do have the dance moves, as long as no one choreographs me and tells me exactly how to dance,” replied Tyra.

She then joked that she was “tempted” to get dance lessons with renowned choreographer Derek Hough ahead of the sequel, adding: “I’m asking you now, Derek. Can you choreograph that for me?”

The original movie (as if you needed reminding!) follows aspiring songwriter Violet Sanford (portrayed by Piper Perabo) as she pursues a music career in New York City.

Working at bar Coyote Ugly to make a little extra cash on the side, Violet is welcomed into a family of all-singing, all-dancing female bar workers.”

I believe this was the first scene in Coyote Ugly where the bar was open. And Violet played by Piper Perabo walks in for her tryout or audition and sees the women on the bar in action. And she comes from somewhat of a culturally conservative background, which is one of the reasons why she goes to New York and sees these gorgeous sexy women.

And Tyra Banks perhaps being the best looking of these women dancing on the bar. And I’m not saying that Tyra is a great actress, I would argue that she’s not and fairly limited as an actress, but this scene wasn’t so much acting. But sexy women especially Tyra dancing on the bar and she looked as great and did as well as any professional Coyote dancer I believe at the real Coyote bar.

And watching her dancing in those tight leather jeans and boots and it is the first scene where you get to see the bar in action, you knew you were watching one hell of a good sexy movie.

I’m going to be real honest here and take note of that, because it might be a while before you see me being honest again. And I go back to being a lying bastard till the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. I had never heard of Coyote Ugly until I saw this movie, well until I heard this movie was out some time I guess in the spring or summer of 2000. I didn’t know that Coyote Ugly was not only a real bar, but a national corporation with a chain or Coyote Ugly bars all around the country. Including Washington where I live around in Bethesda. Some times it takes a big movie like this for me to discover new things.

And then after the movie I see the show Wild On with Brooke Burke that was on E back in the day do a feature about Coyote about a year or so after the movie came out. TLC did a realty show about Coyote like in the spring of 2004 about a women who wants to become a Coyote dancer. And talent scouts I guess from Coyote show her the ropes. CMT launches a series in 2004, a contest really that gives tryouts for Coyote dancers and other employees with the winners getting jobs with the company. And that show lasts for about five seasons or so. And I still have several of those episodes on DVD.

This one movie completely got me into the world of Coyote Ugly. Not just because of the movie, but also because of all the shows about Coyote that came after. This post is not so much about the movie itself, which is a very good movie. But how one movie got a country interested in the Coyote Ugly bar and company. Their women, their dancers and everything that they are about and how they launch the careers of attracted sexy intelligent talented women. Who just need that one break to show the world what they can do.

Sexy Dallas Party Girls

Love the three women in this photo who all look like they’re going out to party. Perhaps they changed at work from their work clothes on a Friday and headed down to the club after work. Or maybe they went home quickly to change before going back out. Of course I love the woman in the middle the most with he black leather belt, big belt buckle, the skin-tight denim jeans, in black leather boots. She definitely looks like the typical, beautiful, sexy, party girl in the look that became very popular in America in the mid 2000s.

From Google

Very sexy women who knows how to get guys attention. They have great bodies and knows how to show it off with legs and a butt that look like they were designed for skinny jeans and boots. They would look great in both skinny denim and leather jeans.

This is what sexy women look like, at least to me. Not pale, rail-thin, valley looking girls. Or women with the so-called ghetto booties that look like they have a couple of basketball balls for an ass.

Sexy women are physically healthy and take care of them self at least to the point where they can afford to go out and get waisted and let it all hang out with out a lot of damage coming to them. Because they keep in good shape and work out and then reward themselves and guys as well by how they present themselves in the tight jeans and boots and showing off their bodies and moving around on those outfits.

Luv dem country girls dancing. Gotta admit, even though I’m not a fan of at least traditional country music. But I do like watching country girls dance. Because they move very well, they’re very sexy because they take care of themselves. They don’t eat until they vomit or vomit up what little they do eat. But they live healthy, eat well, workout, because they are real women. And the lifestyles that they live and the work that they do requires them to look good and take care of themselves. Because they need the energy and strength to do those things.

And then you get women like that on stage and dancing or singing or doing both and you have very sexy attractive women who move very well and look great doing it.

Mui sexy y benita bebe chica! Love this woman, actually I never met her and only have seen her on YouTube. I know shocking, you’re probably grasping for air right now. If you are morbidly obese, perhaps you need the Heimlich maneuver to stop your choking, if someone’s arms are long enough to get around your body and perform it on you and one of your steaks flies out of your mouth. I’ll confess: I’ve only seen this woman on YouTube, but over and over again. It would feel like stalking if I wasn’t just watching her on YouTube.

I use to watch a lot of TV Espanol or Spanish TV, ( for all of you English speakers out there reading this, that’s right both of you ) and a lot of times some older movie, lets say 10-15 years old would come on and it would be an action film. A sexy female police detective or perhaps a sexy female private detective or perhaps bounty hunter. Maybe a girlfriend of the guy who is supposed to be the hero of the movie and she would be dressed very similar like this. Great body, very cute and beautiful wearing tight denim jeans and sexy boots. The woman in this video reminds of those movies.

“NEW THING TO DO in the ‘BRING BACK LETTY’ campagne!

If you want to see Letty in the 5th installment of Fast&Furious, there are 3 things you have to do:

“1. Send email(s) to Michael Moses (head of publicity at Universal Pictures). Here’s his email address:
michael.moses@nbcuni.com
Send him a message, asking him for Letty to be brought back ALIVE and in MUCH bigger role to the next installment of Fast&Furious. Keep it short, remember to be respectful and nice. Rude words won’t get us anywhere, anyway. You can also give some in-depth feedback on why you think Letty should be brought back or why you love Letty/Michelle/Dotty, etc.
Be sure to thank him for his time!”

The Fast and The Furious is not one of my favorite movies. It is not even one of my favorite movies of this century so far. Which is saying something, because most of the top movies of this era at least in popularity are based on style, what is considered hot, awesome, OMG or whatever. I think you get the idea and special effects as well. And movies like that which aren’t based on writing, acting and plot, don’t tend to impress me.

But I do like Michelle Rodriguez, not just physically as a gorgeous, baby-faced adorable, sexy woman, but as an actress as well. And I like Vine Diesel purely as an actor and these two characters and how they relate in this movie are really the only thing that impresses me about this movie. And they look great together and communicate very well together. They simply go well together as you see in this scene.

The Fast and The Furious is not one of my favorite movies and certainly not a great movie and perhaps not even a very good movie. It is watchable and it is entertaining and has a lot of good car races and car chases. The cast is fairly good, but this movie is mostly a style movie intended on looking cool based on special effects, catch phrases and the people in it.

Not so much on plot and little and perhaps annoying things to young producers and directors today, things like acting and writing. Not a very good movie based on that, but that is not what this movie is about anyway. But perhaps the best three parts of this movie are Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel and Letty and Dom together. They actually seem like real people in this movie. And not people trying to be someone else. And they look great and are great together. As you see in this deleted scene.
