This might not be fair because I have no idea what the name of this movie is, or have even seen it. But from this short clip of it, it looks like one of those bad movies, that are poorly written, with real cheesy characters, but with at least one sexy woman in it that sort of comes in and saves the day. And at least keeps guys in the seats, or prevents us from changing the channel. As someone whose been dealing with insomnia my whole adult life, I can personally testify about being up at two or three am with nothing to do and watching the tube, trying to pass the time until I’m tired enough to go to bed. And you see a lot of cable movies on like this for guys like me. Who can’t get to sleep, but perhaps looking to get off.

And seeing late movies like this that were made for about hundred bucks, well perhaps more than that and the movie looks a lot like this. Not even a b movie or perhaps even a c movie with a cast that no one has ever heard of or seen before, because they make their livings doing movies like this. You see movies like this late at night all the time on Cinemax, HBO and Showtime. Basically a bad movie, but with a very physically attractive cast wearing tight sexy outfits. Doing things that sexy people do, like the women in this scene. This video you see here, is from YouTube. Called, “Biker Chick in Tight Blue Levis Jeans.” That is what you in movies like this. Gorgeous sexy women who make their livings getting guys off. Basically, because that is what they’re good at.

There are plenty of good movies with gorgeous sexy women, who can act as well and where they have a main role in the movie. And you see them kick ass in skin-tight outfits and boots. Generally skinny denim jeans and boots. And in many movies with the women in Levis and boots. One For The Money, with Katherine Heigle from 2012, is an example of that. But lets say you work nights and get home late and like most people aren’t ready to go to bed as soon as you get home even if it’s after midnight, or you been partying all night, or just got home from a long flight and you’re flipping around the tube when you get home. You’ll see movies like this. With a no name cast, with no name writers, where even the plot wasn’t thought out very well. With the main focus of the movie gorgeous women who kick ass, in tight outfits.

CBS: Broken Badges- Featuring Miguel Ferrer & Eileen Davidson

Source: Action

This just in: Broken Badges, wasn’t a very good show. Which might explain why it only lasted a little more than a month in late 1990. But it did have four great actors in it with Miguel Ferrer, Eileen Davidson, Charlotte Lewis and Ernie Hudson. Who’ve all had long successful acting careers in Hollywood.

Eileen Davidson being one of the top soap opera actresses/actors, ever really. With her roles on both The Young and The Restless on CBS where she currently works and also on NBC’s Days of Our Lives.

Miguel Ferrer ( the son of Jose Ferrer, RIP the father and son ) had a long successful career mostly as a character actor doing a lot of action/comedy, as well as dramatic comedy. Crossing Jordan on NBC was his last major role.

Ernie Hudson, if you’re familiar with the HBO tense drama about a maximum security prison OZ in the late 1990s and early 2000s, played the warden of that prison. He also did Ghostbusters, Law & Order and several other things.

Charlotte Lewis has mostly guest starred on TV shows and has been a character actress in several movies.

Just the whole premise of the show and series, if you want to call seven episodes a series explains why the show didn’t even make it through a season. It’s basically about four outsider cops, who’ve all has their issues with their police department and have struggled to follow the rules there and end up getting released or demoted from their positions. Who get discovered by a police detective sergeant ( played by Miguel Ferrer ) who is looking to put together a new undercover police unit. That sort of works in and outside of LAPD. One of the characters ( Toby Baker ) is a kleptomaniac. This show just doesn’t make sense and is not believable. CBS after being the number one network in America for like forever, started going downhill and losing to both ABC and NBC in the ratings starting in the mid 1990s and Broken Badges might have been the start of that.

But it did have a good cast and some of the episodes are fairly entertaining. And besides, I can watch Eileen Davidson in basically anything, because she’s hot and she’s adorable, and funny. Miguel Ferrer should be in the character actor Hall of Fame ( if there is one ) with great comedic timing as well. Reminds me a little of Don Johnson from Miami Vice with his serious tough guy demeanor, but with a great ability to crack jokes about anything anywhere with a real wiseass streak. And he along with Eileen, are very good on this show that has a weak premise and some very cheesy writing and cheesy characters and some episodes that are fairly entertaining.

Tom Polivka: Seinfeld Season 4: The Outing- A Reporter Believes Jerry and George Are Gay: Not That There’s Anything Wrong With That

If you think political correctness is bad now and I sure as hell do, then go back to the early 1990s. When homosexuals, especially gay men were just coming out of the closet and just starting to appear on national TV in reality and fictional programming. Whether gay men were queens, or lets say passable as straight and straight people didn’t automatically think they were gay from meeting them, or talking to them, the level of tolerance for homosexuality and gay life, was better than it was in the 1960s or so, but not to the point it is now. Where an overwhelming majority of Americans don’t have a problem with homosexuality. Simply because they know gay people and are friends with them.

I call this Seinfeld episode, the Not That There’s Anything Wrong With That show. Because that phrase is used a lot in this episode and that’s the basic point of the episode. What Jerry and George are saying, is that they’re not gay and want to make that clear to anyone who’ll listen, because they’re not gay and they sure don’t women and potential dates thinking that they’re gay. But they don’t have a problem with gay people being gay. “Its alright if Joe is gay, but I’m not and that lifestyle is not for me.” Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, the creators and producers of the Seinfeld show, went to gay rights groups and showed them the show ahead of schedule, to get it cleared by them.

There are several things I like about this show as a straight man and as a Liberal whose a strong supporter of free speech and strong opponent of political correctness. Which I see as a form of Far-Left fascism. That they made it clear that there’s nothing wrong with being gay, when the country was still fairly split on that and this episode came out in February, 1993. Same-sex marriage, is nowhere near the political radar and you could still get arrested for being gay in several states. But another thing, is that they took on political correctness directly, when political correctness is still fairly popular in America. And where any joke against any women, or non-straight person, or non-Caucasians, was considered bigoted. Because the political correctness crowd, even sees, “not that there’s anything wrong with that”, as homophobic, even if gay people don’t.

The other thing that I love about this episode, is actress Paula Marshall. She’s a beautiful, baby-faced adorable actress, whose like 27 at this point and playing a college student a journalism major. And she’s the one who taped recorded Jerry and George in the diner talking to each other pretending that they were gay and were a couple. Which is really how this episode gets started. Because she ends up interviewing Jerry and George in Jerry’s apartment, about Jerry’s career. And has already written her article in her college newspaper saying that Jerry Seinfeld is gay. And Jerry finds out about that and goes out of his way the rest of the show to prove to her that he’s not gay. Including inviting her over to her apartment for a date.

1993, a big year for me, because it was the year I entered my senior year in high school. But it was a huge year for Janet Jackson, because her 1993 Janet album was a comeback album. She was very busy from 1988-91 with her Rhythm Nation album, but took some time off and came back in a big way in the spring of 1993 with this album. To the point that she performed live at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards. Which happened in August or September that year and I was vacationing with my family in Deep Creek, Maryland when this performance was give and saw it up there.

She’s a great performer, because she’s a singer, great dancer and great performer. I mean the woman is simply beautiful everywhere. Beautiful and yet baby-faced adorable with the voice to match. But then she also has a great body and style to highlight her athletic looking physique. The early and mid 1990s was sort Janet’s what I would call at least sort of her LA gangsta style era. Lots of tight t-shirts, tank tops. studded belts and of course her skin-tight jeans and boots that have always been a big part of her act. She’s simply one of the most sexiest performers around today and has been for a long time.

Jeff Eeee: Charmed- Shannen Doherty in Leather Jeans

More reasons why Shannen Doherty should’ve been on Charmed longer than she was. To go along with being the very beautiful and adorable, sexy wonderful actress that she is. She was clearly the best actress on that show. And even though that show never had a great actress on it, they at least the original women on the show were all very good. Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs to go along with Shannen are all very good, but Shannen was the best. And she also looked great on it and took chances with her wardrobe that unfortunately a lot of other sexy American actress’s wouldn’t have. Like in this video with the leather jeans and boots and wearing that outfit to work on the show.

Charmed, might have been the only prime time drama/comedy soap opera, that had their actress’s in leather jeans on a regular basis in the late 1990s and early 2000s in America. The show went on the air in 1998 and this episode is from the first season. Leather jeans on women at least, had a little run during this time. But the low-rise designer denim jeans for women came out in during this period. And those denim jeans just got tighter by to the point in the mid 2000s sexy American women were now wearing skinny denims and skin-tight denims. And fell in love with them and wore those jeans everywhere, including to the office and out to dinner and everywhere else practically.

But on Charmed, you got to see beautiful sexy women in tight leather jeans. Skinny and skin-tight, at least in Shannen Doherty’s case. Because she has the body to pull the look and look great in them. And not have to worry about looking too thin or overweight in them. With her butt looking flabby, or belly sticking out. Or her crack sticking out when she sits down or stands up, because her body fit so well in those leather jeans. And she looked great in those jeans as a result. And it would just be nice if other shows like Charmed had the same sense of style for their actress’s as Charmed did. Because leather jeans when they fit right, look great on sexy women.

“This is an interview with a girl from MELROSE PLACE… Thank GOD, Norm Macdonald cannot resist giving her the business.”

Source:Bruce Illest: Late Night With Conan O’Brien- Norma MacDonald: Saves The Interview

Thank God for Norm MacDonald otherwise this interview would’ve been about Chairman of The Board. That so far I’ve been a hundred-percent successful in not seeing. I guess they could’ve talked about Melrose Place which was a great show, at least the last two seasons of it that I saw. But Courtney was on the show to talk about Chairman of The Bored, I mean Chairman of The Board.

I mean who would want to be Chairman of The Bored. You would constantly be chairing over people having trouble staying awake at your bored meetings, I mean board meetings. But that was why Norm was there so they wouldn’t have to spend 5-10 minutes talking about the movie and having to listen to people snoring in the audience. Which would’ve been distracting for the audience. And losing people to more interesting things like PBS fundraising drives. And high school plays on public access TV.

Alex Owskignr: The Doors 1991- Miami Concert Scene: Five To One

Attachment-1-771

Source:The New Democrat Plus

As I mentioned yesterday, The Doors is a very entertaining movie and in at least one sense is accurate as portraying Jim Morrison as a very wild and perhaps immature young man. Who fit in very perfectly in the 1960s generation and the time he grew up in and came of age. But the Miami concert scene is one of the few accurate scenes in the movie. The Lizard King did show up to the 1969 Miami concert, not high, but drunk and was a few hours late.

Morrison, was noticeably off and did an awful job and even had a hard time standing up because he was so drunk from the plane ride and from the bar before the flight. Morrison did stop singing all together, got frustrated and started cussing at the audience. And they did boo him and security had a hell of a hard time trying to secure the arena because it was so hot, wild and overcrowded. Sort of like an American prison actually.

But the Miami scene and the New Haven scene might be the only two accurate scenes in the movie. If you are simply just looking for a good fictional movie about a rock and roll band, The Doors is probably a good movie for you. But if you are really interested in the life of Jim Morrison and perhaps the run that The Doors had, I suggest you go the documentary route that is just as entertaining about The Lizard King and The Doors band. But you’ll actually learn some things about them as well.

MTV: Shakira on MTV’s Unplugged in 1999

There is maybe two songs from Shakira that I like that I’ve heard in English. I speak maybe two-hundred words of Spanish, so if someone is singing in Spanish, good luck to me and trying figure out what the hell the person is singing. Because I’ll pick up a few words here and there, not enough to give me a great grasp of the song. Unless it is an Americas song with the same music, but the person singing the song in Spanish. Then I’ll not only know what song they are singing, but probably be able to follow along as well.

Shakira has a few songs that I like. Whenever from 2002 and a couple of others with the titles escaping me right now. But she has a great voice and a great sound as far as her music. She has a hell of a band that almost sounds like blues rock or Latin rock. She would do very well performing with American classic rockers and hard rockers. And also she’s so damn baby-face adorable and gorgeous at the same time with a nice body. It is real hard for a straight guy anyway, not to check her out.

Shakira is a classic sexy baby. Baby-face adorable with real sex-appeal of a women and not a little girl. But she is also very talented as well and she has all of those things going for her at the same time. And then you put her on stage with that voice, that passion and body and then you put her in skin-tight leather jeans and boots, that is just the icing of a huge birthday cake. That makes you want to sit there and eat it the whole time and prey it never ends and goes away.

Alannah Myles Vevo: Alannah Myles Official Black Velvet Video: One of the Top Rocker Chicks From the 1990s

I first saw Alannah Myles black velvet in late 1990 or early 1991 when I was a freshmen in high school. And I was blown away by the video. The blues rock sound was about as good as anything I’ve ever heard from Eric Clapton and Bruce Springsteen, my two favorite blues rock artists. I was also blown away about how sexy Alannah looked in the video. The concert footage of the video with her in that black leather motorcycle jacket and the black leather chaps over black denim jeans and the black leather biker boots. She looked like a classic rocker chick in the video and way rocker chicks should look.

VH1 played this video from when it came out in 1989-90, to early 1992 or so and the song did very well. But the thing that I’ve never understood about Alannah is how come her career isn’t bigger. With that beautiful blues sounding voice that goes great with blues and classic rock and how well written Black Velvet was written. I’m not an expert on the music business obviously, but you would think those qualities and her beautiful sexy look, would’ve led to more opportunities.

Alannah Myles career to me at least is a “what could’ve had been”. Because she is a talented writer and singer, but her career just quite hasn’t taken off. Joan Jett who I do like, whose been in the business going on forty years now, is not as good as Alannah. They have slightly different sounds and Joan is more of punk rocker than Alannah. But Alannah has a better voice and has better music, but right now over twenty years later , she’s basically a one hit wonder. She is known for Black Velvet and that is about it.

Barb Wire: Barb Wire 1996- Starring Pamela Anderson

Attachment-1-421

Source: FRS Daily Post

Barb Wire is not my favorite movie of all-time not even close, (no kidding) but its a very entertaining movie and pretty funny as well with a lot of good action scenes in it. With Pamela Anderson in a lot of good scenes as a very sexy rebel biker chick. This is the best I’ve ever seen Pam look, she was of course alway gorgeous and baby-face adorable with her sweet voice as always. But she showed me something that I haven’t seen from her before. A sexy body, not just from top up but a lower body as well. She looked incredible in her black leather suit, she filled out those black leather jeans very well and look great in the black leather biker boots.

I’m a guy who will watch a mediocre, even a bad movie, if it has a sexy woman in it. Or several sexy women in it and without Pam Anderson in Barb Wire and replace her with an average looking lead actress. (Juliane More) Barb Wire would be a mediocre movie, even if the lead actress does a great job. But Pam Anderson didn’t just look great in the movie, but she did a great job in it as well. As a charming women, but someone you don’t want to mess with because she’ll kick your ass. In the late 1990s when she was in VIP, she played a character that came off as somewhat clueless and a stereotypical blonde bimbo.

But Pam Anderson in VIP her character owned and ran the protection agency. But in Barb Wire she played someone who was clearly in charge and someone who ran the show and knew exactly what was going on and could defend herself as well. Barb Wire is clearly not a great movie, but its a very entertaining movie with a very sexy lead actress in it. Who also does a very job in and is worth watching.
