Maybe I should say reality show in quotes since what’s called reality TV is not very real at all. We all know now that the cast members are encouraged to act a certain and act out. Instead of a film crew following people around to see what they’re really like in real-life. But for what’s called reality TV in Hollywood and New York, Rodeo Girls would qualify as reality TV that’s about cowgirl and professional female rodeo cowgirls and watching them compete around the country and what life is like for them and they’re not competing.

Rodeo Girls for me, is like a soap opera but perhaps without a script. I’m sure the cast members are encouraged to act a certain and to even act out, but they’re not told what to say. In a TV soap opera that has writers and actors, etc each cast members are given a script and told what to say. Rodeo Girls, is like a soap opera, but without a script. It has all the tension and competitiveness, backstabbing that would see on General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, The Young and The Restless, whatever soap you want to use as an example, but the show is unscripted. But the cast is strategically picked out to create tension and entertainment on the show. To put people in place who perhaps don’t even respect each other, let alone like each other and they’re not only competing with each other, but have to interact with each other on the show.

The real drama on this show is between Darcy Lapier ( perhaps the best looking cowgirl in the world, fake or otherwise ) and the rest of the cowgirls the show. Darcy Lapier, is essentially know for being a one-time actress who I guess never got her acting career going in the 1980s, but was able to get involved with some high profiled men in Hollywood and in business. She was married briefly to Jean Van-Damme, businessmen Ron Rice and Mark Hughes, She’s essentially made her career and living by marrying up and being married to successful men and then being able to live off of them while married and then divorced. Gold digger, would probably be an accurate way to describe Darcy Lapier. A very beautiful, hot even, very sexy, very adorable woman, but who has never had much of a career of her own.

And that is where the tension is between Darcy and the other rodeo girls on the show like Barb West who are real rodeo and cowgirls in real-life, who are professionals, who don’t have their ex-husbands alimony or some trust fund to live off of and have to do well in this business in order to support themselves. They don’t see Darcy as one of them or even as a real cowgirl and Darcy is a bit of a verbal punching bag for them and she sees herself as better than them, because she’s not a working stiff and lives the life of a reality TV, Hollywood celebrity traveling around in limos and and her own jet. Who has now decided that she wants a career for herself and is struggling to make it as a professional cowgirl.

“The show chronicles the day in the life of Brown County (about 100 miles north west of Austin) Texan Jerry Campbell and his family, as they struggle to control the explosive population growth of feral hogs in the state of Texas. Feral hogs are a growing problem because of their destructive feeding habits, potential to spread disease and increasing population. They can be dangerous and are able to cause serious harm and injury to humans and livestock.

Millions of dollars are lost by farmers and ranchers from the devastating chaos caused by these wild boars which has prompted the state of Texas to allow and sanction the practice of elimination without limits of the wild pigs.[5] The goal is not eradication, which few believe possible, but control. As age and dwindling mobility continue to hit Jerry Campbell, Jerry attempts to slowly transition his children to taking over his role of company head.”

I got into American Hoggers myself accidentally I guess in the spring of 2013 when I was home on a Sunday and flipping around on the tube. And I saw these two very young, beautiful, and very cute women ( Krystal Campbell and Lea Penick ) doing what I guess would be traditionally male oriented work ( at least straight male ) not just working on a ranch, but doing the actual hunting themselves. Which is what they do for a living hunting feral hogs that represent a real threat to the farm and ranch land in Central Texas and got into this show very quickly because of these two women and what they do on this show and then Katie Ball comes on who is hired by Krystal’s father ( Jerry Campbell ) to be another hunter for him and his ranch. Who is even cuter than Krystal and Lea.

As far as this particular show, I’m not a hunter at all not even an amateur hunter and certainly can’t speak as an expert to what they were doing here, but I think the ladies have a point here. Shooting hogs with no warning while they’re people around and not knowing exactly who you’re shooting at, looks to me at least like trying to land a 747 blindfolded with your eyes close during a Chicago blizzard. I understand all about self-survival and it’s either the hog or me, the hog is going down, but firing into bushes like that and now knowing if they’re actual humans there, is literally shooting in the dark and hoping for the best. I could just imagine Tom’s excuse here if he had shot Krystal or Lea by accident and it might sound something like this, “hey, I was shooting at the hog, not you. At least I didn’t get hurt.” You can easily see why the ladies would be angry here.

I’m not a regular viewer of Shipping Wars and tend not to watch reality TV at all for all sorts of reasons which could be enough for an entire blog post and a very long one at that. But when you’re flipping around the TV at night and perhaps you just got home from something or just off work and you’re hungry and tired, but not ready to go to bed yet, you tend to see all sorts of things on TV that you normally wouldn’t watch simply because you don’t tend to watch that type of programming. And Shipping Wars, is an example of that for me.

So, I end up seeing a few episodes of A&E’s Shipping Wars 5-6 years ago during the summers of those years and come across Jennifer Brennan. Who seems to have the energy of an entire kindergarten class that’s been eating nothing but cookies and candy all day and drinking nothing but cola, who is also as adorable as a lot of those kids both personally and physically and start watching this show a little bit to check her out on it. She’s beautiful, baby-face adorable, tight sexy body who wears boots and jeans everywhere like most cowgirls, funny, and is just very entertaining to watch.

Just a personal note first. have you ever seen a gorgeous woman or any woman in general, look better in Levi’s and boots, then Marilyn Monroe? If you look at The Misfits movie you have about 40-45 minutes of Marilyn in dark wash Levi’s denim jeans were she’s either wearing a tank top of white blouse and about 10-15 minutes or so of Marilyn with a blue Levi’s denim jacket as well. And keep in mind, this movie was made in 1960 wear women weren’t wearing tight jeans including Levi’s on a regular basis at least on TV or in the movies. And you have this gorgeous baby-faced adorable blonde with a beautiful body in these dark wash Levi’s and boots.

Women were barley wearing pants at all on TV and in the movies back then and if they were wearing pants at all, generally they were business pants. Tight jeans and boots for women especially that combo, didn’t become common and mainstream for American women until the late 1970s with the designer jeans revolution. Marilyn was sort of like Catherine Bach ( who played Daisy Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard ) in The Misfits as far as style and looked gorgeous and sexy during the entire movie.

As far as the movie itself, it wasn’t a great movie. It was entertaining and at times pretty funny. But Elie Wallach who was one of the best actors at least of his generation and in this movies is right about the word misfits.

The four main characters in the movie including Marilyn, but also with Burt Lancaster, Eli Wallach, Thelma Ritter, and Montgomery Clift, were basically all drifters who went from place to place and got involved in this or that. Gary Langland, ( played by Burt Lancaster ) Guido, ( played by Eli Wallach ) and Pierce Howland, ( played by Montgomery Clift ) were all Nevada cowboys but they were part-time cowboys at this point.

Roslyn Taber ( played by Marilyn Monroe ) and Isabelle Steers ( played by Thelma Ritter ) were even bigger drifters than the cowboys.

Roselyn was just recently divorced and not knowing where she was going from there and how where her life was going. Isabelle was Roselyn’s friend but perhaps even more of a drifter than Roselyn and just being with her friend to help her out and try to start over.

They end up in Reno, Nevada and stop at a bar which is where they meet Gary and Guido and start to get to know each other. And they tell the two woman that they’re cowboys which is where Roselyn gets interested and find out that Roselyn has nowhere to stay and Gary brings her back to his cabin.

The Roselyn character is so sweet, adorable, and innocent in the movie. Idealistic and naive and overly idealistic as well. Expecting people to better than they actually are.

Marilyn was literally the kid in the movie both figuratively and literally. With the other four main characters all having real world experience and knowing people for who they are. The seen when they start to go rodeoing is a perfect example of that. Roselyn thinks that the guys there are just there to catch horses and then let them go for sport. When the fact is they’re doing it for money and are going to sell the horses to people that are going to kill the horses and use them for meet to sell on the market. The only person in the group who is not aware of this going in. Like a kid.

This is not Marilyn Monroe’s worst movie and certainly not her best movie. I believe she physically looks her best in this movie along with The River of No Return where she plays a woman with a lot more experience and sense for the real world. In The Misfits I believe she comes off as 15-16 year old little girl and not just because she was adorable enough enough to pass for a girl that young physically. But her character’s personality in this movie is very immature and inexperienced.

Good movie if you love gorgeous sexy women in jeans and boots and love cowgirls. But the movie itself leaves plenty to be desired.

What more can a guy ask for ( a straight guy, at least ) than beautiful sexy women on stage posing for a Miss Jeans contest. Wearing tight t-shirts or tank tops with cowgirls boots, and western belts, with western belt buckles. Just wish I was in Houston for that contest or even knew it existed at all ahead of time.

This is why guys love cowgirls or at least a major reason, because they tend to be well-proportioned, filled out, they look like real women instead of women thinking they’re going to be the next super model or valley girl pop star and the only way to do that is to starve them self. You don’t tend to see bone-thin women as cowgirls simply because they wouldn’t be up for that type of lifestyle and culture. They wear a lot of tight denim and boots, short tight tops and belts, and to pull that type of wardrobe off, you need to have the body for it and to look good in those outfits. You need to have real meat on your bones and be healthy. To not only look the part, but also to be able to do the work that is required of being a cowgirl. Working on a ranch, racing horses and cattle.

Cowboys tend to look women with meat on their bones. And that is what you get with cowgirls who tend to be strong healthy women, who can take care of themselves, but also look great and know how to have a great time. Which is what you see with these women at this contest.Again, I just wish I was there or at least knew that this contest was going on and be able to see it somewhere when it was actually going on, instead of finding out about it five years later. But I’m glad I’m able to see it now and watch it.

My favorite model or contestant in this contest is the woman you see just up above. Beautiful woman, dark hair, beautiful body, great jeans and boots, tight red t-shirt. This is what cowgirls look like at least when they’re working and having a great time. She would’ve gotten my vote as Miss Blue Jeans for Houston, at least because she represents exactly what I’m talking about here. This is what cowgirls look like which is beautiful, sexy, very feminine, and yet strong enough to be a great cowgirl and do live that life and do that kind of work.

From Burns 1876

The right cowgirl boots are essential for cowgirls. The most important part probably being coming from someone who doesn’t live out west or in rural America and never has, but that they have to be functional.

Women need to be able to move and move well in them. They need to be comfortable enough to do that so their feet aren’t always sore and getting blisters. But they need to look good and be stylish at the same time.

They need to go with the cowgirls jeans and other western wear that she would wear. And the style part is also important because guys cowboys and otherwise love the look of cowgirls.

That is sexy cowgirls who look good and are well-built and look sexy in their cowgirl outfits. And I think this something that these cowgirls in this video more than understand.

Similar to River of No Return, The Misfits is a very entertaining and good movie, but certainly not a great movie. The writing is pretty cheesy even for the 1950s and early 1960s and especially for a movie that is an action/western movie. But is has a good plot and a great cast. With two women that are essentially drifters, at least in Marilyn Monroe’s case who is just recently divorced and not knowing where she is going from there. And they meet two cowboys in a diner played by Clark Gable and Eli Wallach and find that they have things in common and decide to get together.

Marilyn Monroe’s character doesn’t have a place to stay and the Clark Gable character invites her to stay with him as a guest at her ranch and she more than keeps herself busy there and does a lot of work on the cabin really, a small cabin on a decent size lot of property. And Clarks’s partner in the movie played by Eli Wallach tells him that there are available horses up to be rounded up, brought back and sold, but they need another man to do the job. And they take the girls played by Marilyn and Thelma Ritter to a rodeo to find their man and that is where they get Montgomery Clift character to help them out.

Marilyn as usual is as sweet and adorable as can be and plays someone who wouldn’t step on nat if if you gave her a thousand-dollars to do so. Clark Gable plays a veteran cowboy who is exactly that living the cowboy lifestyle and making his living rounding up horses and cattle. Eli Wallach plays a very similar character as Clark and Montgomery Clift plays a drifting cowboy along for the ride just looking for work. Thelma Ritter plays Marilyn’s friend and tries to worn her about cowboys and how they live. Marilyn being somewhat lost, just looking to find her way and to be useful.

“One Daisy Duke Video to rule them all! Awesome collection of Daisy Duke ( Catherine Bach ) clips compiled to an awesome song by Lamb, called Gorecki. Visit my site at:Jas Bains Video blocked in Germany due to music copyright issues.”

From Jas Bains

When I was growing up my favorite TV show was probably The Dukes of Hazzard. A CBS action comedy where everyone on the show met about every single stereotype both good and bad of what life and the people were like living in the country. It took place in a small county called Hazzard. Naturally with a police department that had two sometimes three cops including the sheriff who was named Roscoe. It had people with names like Daisy, Roscoe, Cletus, Enos, Cooter.

Guest stars with people with names like Billy Bob, Billy Joe, Marly Lu. It had every two name, name you can think of. It had dirt roads, country music, car races and car chases. Great country food, with the fried chicken, mash potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Fast cars being chased by big police cars. A town where everyone knew each other and where the whole town knew when someone from out of town was in Hazzard.

It had Pickup Trucks, farms, crooked politicians and cops, ignorant people who didn’t seem to know what they were doing. It had moonshine whisky, a county next door called Chickasaw that only had one cop, the Sheriff on the Police Force. And it had a lot of beautiful sexy women on it. Including Catherine Bach who played Daisy Duke. Forget about Jessica Simpson who played Daisy Duke in the movie Dukes of Hazard. She’s more qualified to play Sally Smith head cheerleader at Valley High, then to play a country girl.

The hot, sexy baby-faced country girl was the perfect role for Catherine Bach on Dukes of Hazard. Because she was and actually still is gorgeous, baby-face adorable with a great body. Two of the best legs this country has ever seen, just like Tina Turner or Raquel Welch. She was very funny and even though she was (actually still is) baby-face adorable, could probably kick ass as well as he her cousins Bo and Luke Duke. Played by John Schneider. (Great last name by the way) And Tom Wopat the brains of the operation. And as adorable and sexy as Daisy was, you didn’t want to mess with here, because she could kick your ass and look hot doing it. In her famous tight denim jeans and shorts.

And her tight denim jeans and cowgirl boots, Catherine Bach now has her own Denim Line. She was no Sally from the Valley, but a tough but adorable sexy country girl. Who could be sweet as candy until you messed with her. Catherine Bach will always be Daisy Duke and since she played that role perfectly. Unfortunately will always be typed cast, because its so hard to to think of anything else other than Daisy Duke when it comes to Catherine Bach. But she has done other things and has actually has been very active and successful pre and after. Dukes of Hazzard and is someone who’s career should be looked at. To give her the type of respect she actually deserves.

The original Dukes of Hazzard tv show, was and still is the Dukes of Hazzard, at least as far as I’m concern and as far as a lot other Dukes fans are concern as well. The recent movies and everything else are for a younger generation where everything that was around before they were even born or old enough to remember is considered, “like so yesterday and so over and needs to be changed for the new century. But there are reasons why sequels to great shows and movies tend not to be as good as the original. Because the original was done so well, that any new version of it looks like pretend or a copy.

“Jen visits her aunt’s horse farm and talks about her love for horses.”

From A&E

Let’s just be honest: I posted this photo of Cowgirl Jennifer Brennan because it’s really sexy. She’s a cowgirl from Texas (or some Southwest state) whose always dressed like a cowgirl in her skin-tight t-shirts or tank tops, skin-tight, denim jeans, and cowgirl boots. With a beautiful baby face and body. It’s really that simple.

A&E Shipping Wars 2

Source:A&E– Sexy Cowgirl Jennifer Brennan on A&E”s Shipping Wars.

I gotta be honest as a guy, (for a change) I’m not a fan of Shipping Wars on A&E. But I do watch the show occasionally (like when I have nothing better to do and I’m wide awake) and I do like Jennifer Brennan. She’s I guest one of the contestants on the show, but they really aren’t playing. They do this for a living, they buy stuff online that people have to sell and perhaps getting rid of. And they make their money by selling what they buy online for a profit. But they have to compete with each other in order to see who gets to buy and then try to sell the purchase. Sort of like an online auction.

Jennifer Brennan plays or I guess is this cowgirl or cowgirl wannabe who lives I believe in the South. Who is into a lot of Western style I guess products. And she looks like an acts like a cowgirl with the style, the way she talks, what she drives and how she carries herself. She’s also highly annoying and adorable as the other players on the show would probably tell you. But very entertaining at the same time, and very attractive and sexy which makes the show (at times) worth watching for me.

Two sexy cowgirls, one of them in a complete cowgirl outfit, with a black cowgirl hat, black leather jeans, with a cowgirl belt and leather cowgirl boots. I was rooting for her to win in this fake cowgirl duel. (Thats right no one actually died in this video) Cowgirls are very sexy, as sexy as any other type of woman of any other lifestyle. Because they all work hard, eat full balanced meals and work out. You have to in order to be able be to work on a ranch because its a lot of hard work. I’m not interested in rail thin women who almost hate to eat, trying to become the next supermodel. Thinking they have to starve themselves to get there.

Even a lot of fashion models now have real women’s bodies with tight curves. They are healthy, they eat enough and eat right, as well as work out. The stereotypical tall rail thin valley girl look, that came out in the late 1970’s early 80s, is finally starting to fade. We even see valley girls today that are well built, with tight curves and look healthy. Brittney Spears comes to mind, she has a great body because she stays in shape, eats well and eats enough. Jessica Simpson would be another and I hope that trend continues forever.
