To be completely honest with you, I only got into Chicago P.D. the last few years at all because I saw a few reruns and noticed that Sophia Bush whose name I never even heard of before, but then got to thinking that was very familiar and then I looked up the show and her online because she looked like one of the actresses from the teen soap opera One Tree Hill from ten years earlier. A show I watched on Soap Net about six years ago and she played one of the main characters on that show. But that she was much better looking now especially sexier while still remming just as adorable as she was back 2004-05, 06, etc.

And like One Tree Hill which was sort of like for Millennial’s which I’m not what Beverly Hills 90210 ( the original ) was for my Generation X. The main if not first soap opera about that generation and it wasn’t as good as Beverly Hills and not as successful, but still a good show about that generation and I would argue very accurate as well, but how One Tree Hill is with Beverly Hills Chicago P.D. is not as good as Law & Order especially the original Law & Order from the 1990s or even Law & Order SYU. Not that Chicago isn’t a good show or even a great show, but that it’s not as good as the show that probably inspired it.

Teen soap operas regardless of the generation that they were about became popular in the 1990s. Cop shows became popular in the 1990s as well because of shows like Law & Order and the CSI Las Vegas in the 2000s. To the point that thanks to NBC with their Law & Order franchise and CBS with their CSI franchise, cop and law enforcement shows are perhaps the most popular shows on network TV right now, because of all of these great cop shows and the great casts and characters that they put together. Chicago P.D., which is a police detective show where a lot of the characters are either detectives or sergeants, but based of course in Chicago unlike Law & Order in New York.

One thing that I like about the Detective Erin Lindsay character on Chicago P.D. ( played by Sophia Bush ) if that she fits the old cliches don’t let appearances fool you, or don’t judge a book by it’s cover, or I would add don’t let the baby face fool, because she’a lot tougher than she looks. She plays this beautiful, but baby face as cute as a little girl Chicago P.D. detective and yet she handles herself with the best of them and kicks as about as well as any guy on that show. The last part might be going pretty far, because you have big strong men who are also detectives on that show, but similar to the Elisabeth Shue character on CSI Las Vegas, she’s mote than capable of handling herself and even pressing the issue when she’s interrogating witnesses and suspects and making arrests.

The modern cop action/drama show has a lot of attractive, sexy women on it who kick ass on the show and do that wearing very tight, sexy outfits. Sophia’s main outfit on that show are tight t-shirts, skin-tight jeans, and heeled boots with a beautiful body as well. She plays a vice detective so of course she’s going to very casually dressed, but that’s what people want to see with their cop shows today which are strong, tough, but very sexy women and Sophia Bush was one of the best at playing that strong, tough, sexy women on that show.

If you’re familiar with the so-calld me too movement and have followed that and are a fan of it, you’re going to like this movie even though it came out 26 years before me too was a popular term in American English dictionary, because a lot of what these two women ( Thelma and Louise ) go through in this movie is what me too is about. Which is essentially young women and women older than that, very attractive women as well like Thelma and Louise and how they’ve been mistreated by men in their lives. In many cases by men who they trusted.

86317
Source:Mental Floss– Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon as Thelma and Louise

Susan Sarandon, plays Louise and plays a woman who was raped several years earlier and never reported it not even to her best friend Thelma. ( Played by Geena Davis ) Thelma, gets raped in this movie by a guy ( played by Timothy Carhart ) she met at a bar who she was hanging out with and he gets too physical for her. And they both reach a point in their lives where they’re tired of being screwed especially by people they trust and just let it all out and let it all go and just screw caution because they’re mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. ( Famous line from a certain great movie )

Source:Common Sense Media – Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon as Thelma and Louise

Thelma and Lousie, don’t start off their vacation in this movie as outlaws. They’re simply looking to get away and have a great time. Thelma, gets sexually assaulted in the parking lot at the first bar they go to that night before Louise finds them and rescues here which gets out of hand and she ends up shooting the man who sexually assaulted her best friend Thelma. So now they’re on the run because they decided not to report the crime thinking no one would believe them ( sound familiar? ) and now they’re on the run in rural Arkansas, ( as if there is any other kind of Arkansas ) but it gets even better because they pick up a young guy ( played by Brad Pitt ) who gets very friendly with Thelma, but he doesn’t physically assault and instead just takes all of Thelma and Louise’s money. So now they’re on the run with no money to support themselves.

Originally Thelma and Louise and just wanted by the state police for questioning of the shooting of the guy that Louise shot and killed outside of the bar. But when they go on the run Thelma knocks off some stores for the cash because they’re out of money. So this movie turns into a cross state char chase by the state police in pursuit of Thelma and Louise. This is very good movie, a very relevant movie to what’s going on in America with me too the last two years. A very funny movie with Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis, Chis MacDonald, Harvey Keitel, Steve Tobolowski, and many other great comedic actors. And a very sexy movie with Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis playing the female outlaws in the movie.

There has been a trend in Hollywood going back 10-15 years and perhaps because of the success of CSI Las Vegas and Law & Order SVU of not just crime fighting shows or cop shows, but shows like that which are very sexy and are the cast is very sexy. Very attractive with a lot of beautiful sexy women on it playing the roles of lead detectives and doing a lot of the hard dangerous work on the cases.

And when you look at their detective units where these people work at the office, there’s no such thing as Casual Friday, but instead they have Casual Everyday. Where the dressiest outfit for women there would be a pantsuit, but with boots instead of dress or business shoes. You’ll still see male detectives, sergeants, and lieutenants wearing business suits, but not so much with the women on these shows.

A common outfit for female detectives especially when they’re on the road and either questioning witnesses, suspects, or catching suspects will be a t-shirt sometimes long sleeve, but a lot of times short sleeve, with skin-tight denim jeans, maybe kaki jeans or cargo pants, with boots. Looking beautiful, sexy, and kicking ass as cops. Shows like CSI with Marg Helgenberger, Elisabeth Shue. Law & Order SVU with Mariska Hargitay and Kelli Giddish. True Justice with Meghan Ory and Sarah Lind. Saving Grace with Holly Hunter from ten years ago. The Mentalist with Robin Tunney and Amanda Righetti. Chicago PD with Sophia Bush and many other shows like that from this era.

A big part of this obviously has to do with style with boots and jeans being so popular now with women, along with staying in shape with women wanting to show their bodies off in a stylish professional way, but also because this look is so versatile and practical and women can wear boots and jeans to the office without looking too casual now. And because they’re playing not just cops, but detectives who are in a lot of dangerous situations where they have to not only catch suspects, but catch people who don’t want to get caught and have to physically confront suspects.

Beautiful both men and women in America like seeing women kick ass on TV and do it in a sexy way. The common female TV cop now is beautiful, sexy, and fairly young. Who is more than capable of defending herself who wears a lot of tight outfits which is what people want to see from their TV cops now both men and women. Gone are the days where TV cops were almost always guys and generally middle age guys who are always wearing business suits. Now the common TV detective both male and female are younger, very attractive, well-built, and sexy, because that is what the viewers want to see.

If you believe never hearing of the CBS 1990 cop drama Broken Badges makes you special, you need to take a trip back to the drawing board especially if everything else about you is normal. You try to put a fan club together for a series that would barely qualify as a mini-series when we’re only talking about 10 episodes or so and you might fill up a phone booth, but leaving room for people to breathe and move inside of it.

26002
Source: BMPR– Eileen Davidson before she was a star, guess starring on Broken Badges. And perhaps thinking what she’s doing sitting next to a guy with a toy doll, but I’m not a mindreader.

Which is fine because unless you’re a big fan of Eileen Davidson ( from the great soap opera The Young and The Restless ) or big fans of Ernie Hudson or Miguel Ferer, Charlotte Lewis even, or CBS is not only your favorite network but has been your whole life and perhaps you’re the President of the CBS Fan Club and can name everything that great network has ever produced from the flops like Broken Badges to great shows like M*A*S*H and not just grew up with the network and it remained your favorite network as an adult as even a middle age adult, your’e probably not familiar with this show either.

I only got into Broken Badges myself when I started watching The Young and The Restless and Days of Our Lives several years ago when Eileen Davidson was working on both shows. And I was thinking I think I knew who she was before I started watching these shows, because I’ve seen her in a few other things and started looking into what she’s also done, because she’s great on both soaps and great to look at as well. ( And water is still wet )

And started thinking about a certain b-movie that she did like in the late 1980s which of course was Easy Wheels where she plays a biker goddess who is the leader off a female biker gang. And then thinking didn’t she play a tough but sexy cop on a cop show from like the late 80s or early 90s when I was in high school. That is how I got into Broken Badges myself and watched every single episode of that short lived series last weekend in preparation for this piece. Broken Badges, obviously did flopped or it wouldn’t have started in late 1990 and barley made it to 1991, but there were some good things about it and it did have a good cast.

The whole premise of Broken Badges where you have the rebellious officers and detectives who had issues with rules and following them and are always in trouble with their superiors, that are lead by a detective sergeant ( played by Miguel Ferer ) who was fired by the New Orleans PD and then broth in by the Bay City ( fictional town and PD ) because he wouldn’t follow department rules, regulations, take orders, thinks he smarter than everyone else, pretty much explains why this show barley qualifies as a series. This show would’ve been suited if it was based on a private detective agency where the detectives are all ex-cops who are talented but fired by their department for breaking the rules, that are brought in by a guy starting his own new detective agency after he was fired from his department.

But a lot of pilots fail and perhaps most do, but that doesn’t mean they’re complete failures if they have good casts that were good on those pilots and become stars later on and the failed pilots that they were part of become like jumpstarts for their careers. Easy Wheels and Broken Badges, didn’t make Eileen Davidson, Ernie Hudson, Miguel Ferer, or Charlotte Lewis stars. Hudson and Ferer, were already somewhat known from shows and movies from earlier in their careers. Hudson, with Ghostbusters and Ferer with Robocop. And Broken Badges allowed for Eileen Davidson to be on network TV and be seen which lead to other and much better roles for her.

Just to talk about Officer Bullet ( played by Eileen Davidson ) she plays this very tough and yet sexy, gorgeous, very cute even. What would be called a vice detective where she goes undercover a lot and works with dangerous people that would kill her if they discovered she was a cop. And she’s doing this work with a look of a badass biker chick very similar to Easy Wheels which came out right before Broken Badges went on the air in 1990. She’s always wearing this sexy black leather biker jacket , blue Levi’s jeans, black western boots, and there are a few scenes where she’s wearing black leather chaps over her blue Levi’s denim jeans. And she’s kicking ass in the movie a lot but always kicking bad guys ass, because of course her character is addicted to danger as the background of her character says. Eileen Davidson, is all the reason I need to watch this show and it also has a lot good humor and funny scenes in it as well.

The Daily Beast: Opinion- Libby Torres: ‘SVU’s Detective Olivia Benson Is The Mother of The Me Too Movement’

89544
Source: Notey– The cast of Law & Order SVU

Source: Action

To say that NBC’s Law & Order SVU is ahead of it’s time, would be like saying that it gets hot in Texas especially in the summer or it rains in Seattle, well at any point during the year or it snows in Minnesota in January and hopefully you get the idea by now. ( God help if you don’t ) They were talking about issues back in 1999-2000 ( the first season of SVU ) 17-18 years before the so-called Me Too movement emerged in 2017. They were dealing cases as a detective squad about women being raped and sexually abused in other ways. As well as little girls and boys who are sexually abused by their parents and other adults in their lives.

44446
Source: Daily Mail– Mariska Hargitay and Brooke Shields, being very cute for a little boy

The original Law & Order which I still get to watch every week ( thanks to Sundance and TNT ) is still favorite now just show from this franchise, but one of my favorite shows ever, especially from the 1990s and 2000s, but SVU is right up there as one of the best cop dramas on TV. Perhaps the best cop drama on TV right now, but I’m guessing fans of CSI Las Vegas would probably dispute that. Maybe they can get together on TV ( fans of both shows ) and debate on live national TV. I’m sure Bravo would be happy to broadcast that and it would be ultimate and perhaps even real reality TV show.

But on a less substantive note but still important the Olivia Benson character ( played by Mariska Hargitay ) is one of the first sexy female police detectives on TV. There’ve been beautiful, sexy, younger female law enforcement officers on TV before. Angie Dickinson was the original with Police Woman from the 1970s, Heather Thomas from The Fall Guy in the 1980s, Kelly Hu from Nash Bridges from the late 1990s and perhaps there are more.

But Mariska is the first from a trend that started in the mid 2000s or so where you would have beautiful, sexy women playing tough cops who kick ass on a regular basis and even kick male ass. They’re no longer playing secretary’s, receptionists or desk sergeants that just take calls and pass on information to the real detectives and their superiors, but working cases and getting into conflict and having to physically take on strong male suspects who could severely hurt them if not kill them if the female officer is not up to the task.

Mariska, is the first female TV law enforcement officer to where tight jeans and boots on the show on a regular basis while she’s working and not at home or having a rare day off, but working her cases in beautiful black leather jacket, black denims, and boots. She was doing that back in 2007-08 if not earlier and now every cop show has at least one if not multiple female lead officers who are beautiful, sexy, physically able to take care of themselves who work their cases in boots and jeans on a regular basis. Just watch CSI Las Vegas with Elisabeth Shue, or watch Criminal Minds with the attractive detectives there, Chicago PD with Sophia Bush, NCIS LA with Daniela Ruah and I could go on.

Mariska Hargiatay ( who plays now Detective Lieutenant Olivia Benson ) is not the first beautiful, sexy, sharp, witty, great cop on TV, she’s just the best cop with those qualities and that includes Angie Dickinson who I love as well and they’re now in their 20th season with apparently no plans to ever wind the show down and plan for a final season and not just because of how popular the show is and that it’s lead to over great cop shows like Chicago PD, but also because of how great the show is. How great the cast, storylines and everything else that makes cop shows great.

Matthew Lee: Electric Horseman 1979- Starring Jane Fonda & Robert Redford

The Electric Horseman is not a great film. It’s a very entertaining movie, a very funny movie especially Robert Redford where you really see his quick, underrated, comedic wit, timing, and improvisation in this movie. Not saying Redford is Cary Grant, Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, or Paul Newman, when it comes to comedy, but he’s a very skilled comedic actor who doesn’t need direction or a script to be funny and you see that in this movie. You also see a lot of his comedic skills in Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid ( one of my favorite movies ) and what you also see in Butch and Sundance and The Electric Horseman is Redford with a mustache. I actually think he looks good with a stache and perhaps others do as well.

33093
Source: Colorado Springs Gazette– Jane Fonda & Robert Redford or Bob & Jane

To me at least Electric Horseman is a typical Sidney Pollack movie where he mixes in drama and comedy. He has a movie that is about a serious issue and in this case a movie about a horse literally being stolen or horse napped ( if that’s a real term ) but he puts funny people in the movie who are also great actors. Tootsie from 1982 I believe is another example of a typical great Pollack film. By the way, Jane Fonda also has an important role in this movie where she plays a reporter who is covering this story about essentially a washed-up cowboy in Redford who steals this horse, because he doesn’t want to see this horse being doped anymore and just used as a show horse. Sonny ( played by Robert Redford ) career as a cowboy as fallen so far that he’s now been reduced to doing cereal commercials on this horse.

67860
Source: Alamy Stock Photo– Jane Fonda & Robert Redford- damn, these boots are tight

Sonny steals the horse in the dead of night and takes him out to the Nevada desert with the plan of releasing the horse so no one else can find him and bring him back. And similar to Smokey and the Bandit he how has the local state police in Nevada chasing him to bring back the horse and arrest Sonny. Alice ( played by Jane Fonda ) is a local Las Vegas reporter who has been tapped to cover this horse show with Sonny and gets the scoop that Sonny has stolen the horse and manages to catch up with them in the Nevada desert with no one else following her out there. And tells Sonny that she’s not working with the police and simply wants to cover the story and show the people what he’s up to and present Sonny’s story to the public. She eventually gains his trust and he allows her to follow them.

70556
Source: Alamy Stock Photo– Robert Redford & Jane Fonda or Bob & Jane

This is not a great movie and sort of has this Hollywood idealist vibe to it with a famous cowboy, who somehow believes that animals in this case’s a show horse, perhaps has the same rights as humans. When he knows for a fact that horses are raised to race and be used for transportation and serve at the pleasure for humans and in some cases even be used for food. With Jane Fonda not playing an overly idealistic hippie radical Socialist in the movie, but simply as an objective reporter ( or that’s how she starts out ) looking for a big story and to advance her career in TV news. So the plot is a little unbelievable, sounds like complete fiction, but the story is very entertaining and funny with a great cast.

73835
Source: Movie Pins– Hollywood Goddess Jane Fonda. No ordinary Jane.

What you also see in this movie is that it relates very well to the world of fashion, especially women’s fashion. The movie comes out in late 1979 and perhaps made in 79 or 78 at the start of the designer jeans revolution. Pre-1978 or perhaps even 1977, you rarely saw American women in tight jeans and boots at all in Hollywood or on TV, even in westerns or action movies. In The Electric Horseman, Jane Fonda is wearing skin-tight designer denim jeans in boots, for about a hour of the movie. You also briefly see her in black leather jeans and boots when she meets Sonny for the first time in the desert. She’s also wearing a short and tight suede jacket and if you’re familiar with Jane Fonda, you know that she’s obviously a beautiful, sexy woman, adorable as well. ( Whatever you think of her politics ) And this movie and style just fit her perfectly in the movie.

Just a personal note first.

Have you ever seen a gorgeous woman or any woman in general, look better in Levi’s and boots, than Marilyn Monroe? If you look at The Misfits movie you have about 40-45 minutes of Marilyn in dark wash Levi’s denim jeans were she’s either wearing a tank top of white blouse and about 10-15 minutes or so of Marilyn with a blue Levi’s denim jacket as well. And keep in mind, this movie was made in 1960 wear women weren’t wearing tight jeans including Levi’s on a regular basis at least on TV or in the movies. And you have this gorgeous baby-faced adorable blonde with a beautiful body in these dark wash Levi’s and boots.

Attachment-1-1673
Source: Google– Marilyn Monroe & Clark Gable

Women were barley wearing pants at all on TV and in the movies back then and if they were wearing pants at all, generally they were business pants. Tight jeans and boots for women especially that combo, didn’t become common and mainstream for American women until the late 1970s with the designer jeans revolution. Marilyn was sort of like Catherine Bach ( who played Daisy Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard ) in The Misfits as far as style and looked gorgeous and sexy during the entire movie.

As far as the movie itself it wasn’t a great movie. It was entertaining and at times pretty funny. But Elie Wallach who was one of the best actors at least of his generation and in this movies is right about the word misfits. The four main characters in the movie including Marilyn, but also with Burt Lancaster, Eli Wallach, Thelma Ritter, and Montgomery Clift, were basically all drifters who went from place to place and got involved in this or that. Gary Langland, ( played by Burt Lancaster ) Guido, ( played by Eli Wallach ) and Pierce Howland, ( played by Montgomery Clift ) were all Nevada cowboys but they were part-time cowboys at this point.

Roslyn Taber ( played by Marilyn Monroe ) and Isabelle Steers ( played by Thelma Ritter ) were even bigger drifters than the cowboys. Roselyn was just recently divorced and not knowing where she was going from there and how where her life was going. Isabelle was Roselyn’s friend but perhaps even more of a drifter than Roselyn and just being with her friend to help her out and try to start over. They end up in Reno, Nevada and stop at a bar which is where they meet Gary and Guido and start to get to know each other. And they tell the two woman that they’re cowboys which is where Roselyn gets interested and find out that Roselyn has nowhere to stay and Gary brings her back to his cabin.

The Roselyn character is so sweet, adorable, and innocent in the movie. Idealistic and naive and overly idealistic as well. Expecting people to better than they actually are. Marilyn was literally the kid in the movie both figuratively and literally. With the other four main characters all having real world experience and knowing people for who they are. The seen when they start to go rodeoing is a perfect example of that. Roselyn thinks that the guys there are just there to catch horses and then let them go for sport. When the fact is they’re doing it for money and are going to sell the horses to people that are going to kill the horses and use them for meet to sell on the market. The only person in the group who is not aware of this going in. Like a kid.

This is not Marilyn Monroe’s worst movie and certainly not her best movie. I believe she physically looks her best in this movie along with The River of No Return where she plays a woman with a lot more experience and sense for the real world. In The Misfits I believe she comes off as 15-16 year old little girl and not just because she was adorable enough enough to pass for a girl that young physically. But her character’s personality in this movie is very immature and inexperienced. Good movie if you love gorgeous sexy women in jeans and boots and love cowgirls. But the movie itself leaves plenty to be desired.

Azteka 230: Sexy Biker Chick- From a B-Movie

Source: The New Democrat Plus

This might not be fair because I have no idea what the name of this movie is, or have even seen it. But from this short clip of it, it looks like one of those bad movies, that are poorly written, with real cheesy characters, but with at least one sexy woman in it that sort of comes in and saves the day. And at least keeps guys in the seats, or prevents us from changing the channel. As someone whose been dealing with insomnia my whole adult life, I can personally testify about being up at two or three am with nothing to do and watching the tube, trying to pass the time until I’m tired enough to go to bed. And you see a lot of cable movies on like this for guys like me. Who can’t get to sleep, but perhaps looking to get off.

And seeing late movies like this that were made for about hundred bucks, well perhaps more than that and the movie looks a lot like this. Not even a b movie or perhaps even a c movie with a cast that no one has ever heard of or seen before, because they make their livings doing movies like this. You see movies like this late at night all the time on Cinemax, HBO and Showtime. Basically a bad movie, but with a very physically attractive cast wearing tight sexy outfits. Doing things that sexy people do, like the women in this scene. This video you see here, is from YouTube. Called, “Biker Chick in Tight Blue Levis Jeans.” That is what you in movies like this. Gorgeous sexy women who make their livings getting guys off. Basically, because that is what they’re good at.

There are plenty of good movies with gorgeous sexy women, who can act as well and where they have a main role in the movie. And you see them kick ass in skin-tight outfits and boots. Generally skinny denim jeans and boots. And in many movies with the women in Levis and boots. One For The Money, with Katherine Heigle from 2012, is an example of that. But lets say you work nights and get home late and like most people aren’t ready to go to bed as soon as you get home even if it’s after midnight, or you been partying all night, or just got home from a long flight and you’re flipping around the tube when you get home. You’ll see movies like this. With a no name cast, with no name writers, where even the plot wasn’t thought out very well. With the main focus of the movie gorgeous women who kick ass, in tight outfits.

I’m a big fan of films from the 1960s and 1970s including b-movies or movies that seem like b-movies at the time ( like Glory Stompers ) and movies that become cult classics and cult favorites. Like Glory Stompers, because these are movies that take a lot of risks and chances. They take risks by using actors and actresses that people probably have never even seen before, let alone heard of. Dennis Hopper ( one of my favorite actors ) was not a rookie at this point, but he wasn’t a star either. Easy Rider is the movie that gave him a name and made him a star.

77063
Source: Rock Shop Pop– Sandra Bettin

What I talked about last week with Broken Badges is that movies and shows like this take a lot of chances. A lot of that having to do with the fact that they almost have too, because they’re low budget and underfunded. So they have to work with people who don’t have deep resumes, but they have to find people without the names who are talented and could become stars at some point. Glory Stompers has a lot of people who aren’t names in it and never became names, but who play big roles.

2154
Source: DVD Talk– The Outlaws, with Dennis Hopper & Sandra Bettin

Like Chis Noel who plays the kidnap victim in the movie. Sandra Bettin who plays Chino’s ( played by Dennis Hopper ) mamma in the movie. Jody McCrea plays Chris’s ( played by Chris Noel ) boyfriend who naturally comes back and saves his girlfriend from this biker gang. The fact is Chris was never in any real danger in this movie. Other than by one guy who came close to committing sexual assault against her, before Chino of all people rescued her from that guy.

17367

But then this movie has key players in it that did become stars later on. Dennis Hopper who I believe is one of the best actors of his generation at least. Robert Tessier who played tough guys generally bad guys on TV a lot of the 1970s and 1980s, but was also in Burt Reynold’s The Longest Yard from 1974. Casey Kasem ( the famous disk jockey ) has a small role in the movie.

The movie has a creative plot. It’s basically about two rival biker gangs with one gang led by Chino, which is an outlaw gang who makes their money in narcotics trade and other illegal enterprises. And the other gang led by Darryl ( Chris’s boyfriend ) that I guess are the good guys at least in this battle. Bikers who are basically just looking to have a good time. That go to a lot of parties, get drunk a lot, do a lot riding, but aren’t criminals for the most part.

Chino doesn’t like Darryl and has his gang attack him when they find Darryl away from his gang and they attack him and think they killed him after they beat him up. Which is why they kidnapped Chris because they didn’t want to leave any witnesses. If any of them knew anything about just basic CPR and paramedics, they would’ve seen that Darryl was beat up and unconscious but not dead. And wakes up shortly after Chino’s gang takes off with Chris.

As I mentioned before Chris was never in any real danger when she was being held by the Outlaws ( for lack of a better term ) other than that one guy who tried to sexually assault her, but she was rescued almost as soon as Magoo ( played by Robert Tessier ) tried to attack her. The Outlaws were simply looking to get out of dodge and haul ass down to Mexico to collect money from a score. And then release Chris in Mexico. There really isn’t a dull scene in Glory Stompers, it does have some cheesy writing, which can come from having cheap writers. And is a very entertaining look at life in outlaw biker culture from the late 1960s.

CBS: Broken Badges- Featuring Miguel Ferrer & Eileen Davidson

Source: Action

This just in: Broken Badges, wasn’t a very good show. Which might explain why it only lasted a little more than a month in late 1990. But it did have four great actors in it with Miguel Ferrer, Eileen Davidson, Charlotte Lewis and Ernie Hudson. Who’ve all had long successful acting careers in Hollywood.

Eileen Davidson being one of the top soap opera actresses/actors, ever really. With her roles on both The Young and The Restless on CBS where she currently works and also on NBC’s Days of Our Lives.

Miguel Ferrer ( the son of Jose Ferrer, RIP the father and son ) had a long successful career mostly as a character actor doing a lot of action/comedy, as well as dramatic comedy. Crossing Jordan on NBC was his last major role.

Ernie Hudson, if you’re familiar with the HBO tense drama about a maximum security prison OZ in the late 1990s and early 2000s, played the warden of that prison. He also did Ghostbusters, Law & Order and several other things.

Charlotte Lewis has mostly guest starred on TV shows and has been a character actress in several movies.

Just the whole premise of the show and series, if you want to call seven episodes a series explains why the show didn’t even make it through a season. It’s basically about four outsider cops, who’ve all has their issues with their police department and have struggled to follow the rules there and end up getting released or demoted from their positions. Who get discovered by a police detective sergeant ( played by Miguel Ferrer ) who is looking to put together a new undercover police unit. That sort of works in and outside of LAPD. One of the characters ( Toby Baker ) is a kleptomaniac. This show just doesn’t make sense and is not believable. CBS after being the number one network in America for like forever, started going downhill and losing to both ABC and NBC in the ratings starting in the mid 1990s and Broken Badges might have been the start of that.

But it did have a good cast and some of the episodes are fairly entertaining. And besides, I can watch Eileen Davidson in basically anything, because she’s hot and she’s adorable, and funny. Miguel Ferrer should be in the character actor Hall of Fame ( if there is one ) with great comedic timing as well. Reminds me a little of Don Johnson from Miami Vice with his serious tough guy demeanor, but with a great ability to crack jokes about anything anywhere with a real wiseass streak. And he along with Eileen, are very good on this show that has a weak premise and some very cheesy writing and cheesy characters and some episodes that are fairly entertaining.
